Grade 8, £57,422 - £66,537 per annum pro rata

Permanent

Applications are invited for the Head of Academic Planning.

The new role of Head of Academic Planning will coordinate strategic planning and lead institutional analysis and insights to support decision making functions of the Glasgow School of Art. This role is pivotal in ensuring the GSA’s objectives align with our ambitions and Strategic Plan by providing data-driven insights, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and supporting informed decision-making. The role will also ensure compliance with the regulatory frameworks and funding requirements specific to Scotland. The Head of Academic Planning will report to the Deputy Director and Vice Principal (Academic) and will be expected to work collaboratively across the institution.

The Head of Academic Planning will champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement and enhancement, aligned with best practices outlined by the Higher Education Strategic Planners Association (HESPA) and informed by the Glasgow School of Art’s (GSA) Data Strategy principles.
