The School of Innovation and Technology (SIT) has a key role within The Glasgow School of Art in delivering high profile research and teaching in sound, advanced 3D visualisation, graphics technologies and animation, whilst maintaining a range of dedicated research programmes with industry.
As Lecturer for the undergraduate Sound for Moving Image programme you will undertake an appropriate balance of teaching, assessment, course and curriculum development and related administration, as well as support for other academic activities within SIT.
You will have undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in appropriate disciplines and have significant professional experience in creative practice with sound combined with experience of working in a higher education institution. You will have experience with both the creative practice of working with pre-recorded sound and Digital Audio Workstations as well as a strong understanding of contemporary critical approaches to the same.
