The department of Painting and Printmaking are seeking to employ two part time lecturer's to cover a period of maternity leave. As a Lecturer in Painting and Printmaking you
will undertake an appropriate balance of teaching, assessment, course and
curriculum development and related administration.
You will be qualified to degree level, or
equivalent, with advanced skills in drawing and painting and/or printmaking.
You will have a significant fine art practice combined with experience of
teaching in higher education. Previous experience of teaching life drawing/painting
would also be desirable.
You will be able to demonstrate both an
awareness of the current trends in the field of painting and printmaking and a
commitment to communicating a vision of the future of the disciplines to
students in innovative and exciting ways.
