The post holder will contribute to the successful delivery of the HR function as a member the senior management team within the department, by playing a lead role in employee relations casework, organisational change and staff development.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, or equivalent experience, in a discipline relevant to the role and context.  They will also have significant experience in a senior HR role and in the management of complex casework.  Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding, complimented by demonstrable experience, of organisational development best practice and how that may be supported through staff development.
