GSAE is seeking a practical, customer focused and commercially driven Retail Supervisor to guide the sales team in consistently delivering a unique, authentic, innovative and impressive retail experience across the heritage shop, design shop, online shop and tour ticketing point.  

Reporting to the Retail Buying and Operations Manager, you will support the smooth running, quality and profitability of GSAE’s retail and tour operations through the effective supervision of front of house teams with a primary focus on sales and customer service. 

Retail experience including supervisory duties, effective use of sales and stock control systems, visual merchandising and administration are vital, as is a willingness to learn new skills, take on challenges, work independently and develop professionally with the growth of the company. Experience in a visitor attraction or box office context also an advantage but not essential.

Rate of pay:                                          £9.42 per hour.
Working pattern:                                   Normally 2 days per week, must be flexible to work over 7 days, including                                                                              occasional evenings.
