The Technical Support Department at Glasgow School of Art requires an enthusiastic and flexible Casting Technician who will enjoy the challenge of working in a creative and dynamic educational environment.  

You will be part of a small team responsible for organising the day-to-day running of the casting workshop. You will provide introductory workshops for students which will include health and safety and a hands-on introduction to mould making and casting as well as ongoing one on one support for student projects.
 
You will be well-organised, with knowledge and skills in this area, with the ability to problem solve and facilitate the technical needs of students with a flexible and imaginative attitude.
