The School of Simulation & Visualisation (SimVis) has a key role within The Glasgow School of Art in delivering high profile research and teaching in sound, advanced 3D visualisation, graphics technologies and animation, whilst maintaining a range of dedicated research programmes with industry.  

As Lecturer for both the new undergraduate and existing postgraduate Sound for Moving Image programmes you will undertake an appropriate balance of teaching, research, assessment, course and curriculum development and related administration.  

You will have undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in appropriate disciplines and have significant professional experience in audio, music, sound art and computer programming combined with experience of working in a higher education institution. You will have experience with both the creative practice of working with pre-recorded and interactive sound as well as a strong understanding of contemporary critical approaches to the same.
