GSAE is seeking a friendly, customer focused and commercially driven Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in delivering a unique, authentic, innovative and impressive experience across The Glasgow School of Art’s design shop, online shop and tour ticketing point.  

Reporting to the Retail Supervisor, you will support the smooth running, quality and profitability of GSAE’s retail and tour operations by providing a warm welcome and world class service to our international clientele. 

Retail experience including sales, visual merchandising, use of sales and stock control systems and administration is important, as is a willingness to learn new skills, take on challenges and develop professionally.  Box office or visitor centre experience also an advantage but not essential.  

GSAE welcomes thousands of international visitors to The Glasgow School of Art every year, aiming to generate income for the School, delight our customers, and support the School’s creative community.
