Grade 5 - £26,052 - £30,175 per annum pro rata

As Disability Support Adviser,
you will join a small dynamic team of learning support and development
professionals supporting the diverse needs of students across the Glasgow
School of Art. You will work with individual disabled students/applicants to identify
and assess their learning related needs and determine how these needs can be
effectively met in the learning and teaching context.
Educated
to degree level, you will have experience of conducting learning needs
assessments and supporting student applications to the Disabled Students
Allowance scheme. You will be familiar with a wide range of adaptive
technologies and experienced in training and supporting students to use them
effectively.
The
successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and
presentation skills, be able to communicate in writing to a professional
standard and be fluent in the use of IT.
The ability to manage a
significant caseload based on priorities and deadlines is essential.
