Fixed term - 6 months
20th Sept 2018 until 31 Mar 2019; (variable working hours up to a total of 318)
Salary - up to £21.97 per hour

The Mackintosh School of Architecture are seeking a dynamic lecturer to provide world class teaching in the undergraduate programme in History of Architecture. Teaching will most likely include two undergraduate lecture courses: an introduction into architectural history (first year) and a course on architecture since the Second World War (third year).
The successful candidate will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level within Higher Education.
Educated to at least degree level in architectural history or art history, the post holder will ideally hold a PHD. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of 20th century history of architecture, as well as of select other periods. A focus on Scottish architecture will be a benefit. A passion for teaching is essential.
