The Photography Team supports students from across the school to develop their ideas in digital and analogue photographic techniques.  

 

We are seeking a Workshop Assistant who will enjoy working in a creative and dynamic educational environment.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the photography workshops at Glasgow School of Art.   With the support of Photography Technicians, you will assist students working in a variety of Photographic projects. You will support and maintain a welcoming and accessible community resource responsive to student needs while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines and best practice.  

 

You should have experience of hands-on photographic practice including both digital and analogue techniques.  Prior use of workshop equipment is desirable and you will be willing to develop your making skills and safe working knowledge.
