Applications are invited for a Senior Learning Technology Officer (Accessibility specialist) in Library Services at the Glasgow School of Art.

 

The role

 

Glasgow School of Art has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive learning technology professional to join our Blended Learning Team. The purpose of this post is to support the use of learning technology tools and the development of accessible, inclusive practices within the institution.

 

The postholder will provide specialist advice, guidance and training to staff and students on the use of technology, and lead on wider educational development projects to support accessibility.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience:

 

•             Experience supporting learning management systems and related tools in an educational setting.

•             Enthusiastic and adaptable approach to problem solving and supporting staff and students.

•             Knowledge of WCAG 2 and how to support organisations to meet the guidelines.

•             Self-directed, organised and collaborative

•             Excellent communicator and trainer
